Shadow Aura The user can release and surround themselves in/with darkness/shadow for defensive and/or offensive purposes, possibly becoming almost untouchable. The aura may also give the user enhanced physical capabilities such as speed, strength and durability. Weaknesses •  Shadow Stealth  - Must be able to touch or be near shadow or darkness to hide within it.  - Useless in the absence of shadows cast by others.  - Users can be detected if they speak or make noises while hiding. Important Beings • anyone else important, from family to close friends Overall History • Springtime, a time of bountiful prey and cool waters. A time of love and of new life. A new chapter in each being's life. But this story is about a pair of wolves. Lovestruck mates could never seem to catch a break from their parents about whom they should be with. Cyprian and Tessa were from the same pack, but their parents wished for them not to be together. Cyprian’s father was a Sentinel for the pack and his mother the pack's Beta. They both believed Cyprian should be more so worried about becoming a high rank than finding a mate. Tessa’s parents were of the Leading roles in the pack, her father a Lead Warrior, and her mother the Lead Huntress. They believed that Tessa should have been more worried about finding her place within the pack. Both of the pairs of parents just couldn’t seem to keep their children away from one another. At every chance, they could get Cyprian and Tessa would slip away to be together, it was true love. Finally, the two were granted permission by the reigning alpha pair to be mates. Soon they both thrived within their chosen ranks of duty. Cyprian a Sentinel like his father and Tessa the Leading Healer. They were finally happy and so were their parents that the two had begun to focus on being apart of the pack. Tessa was the best healer the pack had ever seen, her kind and loving personality just added to her likeness that much more. Cyprian was a strong male, very smart, and crafty. He was well-liked within the pack as well. Trained the hardest and became the most cunning sentinel there was. A few seasons later the pair were granted permission to have pups and that March they were blessed with two healthy bundles of joy. The first one was a male as dark as the darkest hour before the dawn, they named him Tenebris. The second was a snow white-coated female, they choose to call her Brielle. But sadly their joy would be short-lived.. Months came and went swiftly, the pups coming of age to be trained within their chosen duty. The two pups had made the decision to become warriors together. They would learn to use their powers in combat and learn close combat. Tenebris power was discovered to be Dark Aura while Brielle was discovered to be was Shadow Stealth. Tenebris favorite move was to use his Dark Aura pretty much as a shield, if touched while the power was in use a zap would be given to the opposite. Brielle was about to touch another's shadow and fall into sync with it, pretty much becoming the other’s shadow. She became so good at it that she completely blended in and was completely unnoticeable when mimicking someone’s shadow. Soon the winter months came, harsh blizzards rained down from the mountains as the winds took grip upon the land. The already dark part of the Zamora forest was becoming darker. This was no problem for the Erebos pack, as all Erebos wolves had adapted to living in the dark and their eyes could adjust. Tenebris and Brielle were sent out on a patrol one last evening. The skies threatened storms and an early night. The patrolling party consisted of Tenebris, Brielle, and another warrior by the name of Eros. The three were younger warriors that were being tested on their teamwork and skill, so they ran off into the darkness and began their patrol. As the time passed the storm drew closer and the wind roared in Tenebris’s ears. Soon snow and ice began to fall from the sky, growing with every passing minute. “Tenebris, we should turn back, the storm is growing furious”, Eros called out to him while straining his voice to yell above the howling winds. The males pitch black fur whipped in the icy fingers of the winds while snow and ice pelted him from all sides, soaking his coat. “We need to find shelter”, he heard Brielle yell and then runoff. “Brielle! Don’t run”, it was too late, he had run into the blizzard and he had lost sight of his sister. Deciding that he couldn’t find her in this storm he knew he needed to get himself and Eros to some shelter. They would search for Brielle when the storm passed. Tenebris just hoped she wouldn’t get too far. It was before dawn that the storm finally halted. The ground now had a thick blanket of snow that layered itself over everything. The snow came up to mid-way of his front legs. Himself and Eros both left out in search of his beloved sister. How would he tell his pack, most of all his parents, that he had lost his only sibling. The two males had spent all day in search but the snow was just too deep and covered every track and scent. They had no such luck in finding Brielle. Soon the pair had made their way back to the pack temple. Tenebris ears and tail laid loosely in defeat. His parents were the first to rush to the males, but neither of them could meet his parent’s gaze. Even though his parents were sick with worry over his sister, they were glad to have at one of their pups back home and safe. Losing his sister had thrown the male into a deep depression. Weeks, months, and a year had passed without a sign of Brielle. His family had come to the terms that Brielle was gone and life had gone on. Although Tenebris had never given up or forgotten her. On every patrol, he searched for her, just a sign of her, a scent, a patch of fur. Anything, but nothing had ever turned up. Soon Tenebris was proven to be worthy of the title Beta. His alpha pair had invited him into the throne room for a lone meeting. He thought maybe he was to be in trouble and completely taken back when asked to be Beta. “We know you have never given up on looking for your sibling Tenebris and that is the kind of dedication I need for a Beta to have. One that will get things done and be dedicated to the duty. Would you be willing to be my Beta”, Tenebris had heard the alpha but it didn’t fully click with him at first what they were asking. Once he had snapped back into reality Tenebris nodded his head yes,”I would be honored to be your Beta.” From then on out Tenebris was the Beta of the Erebos pack. A few years later the alpha pair had stepped down from leading into the role of elder. They had grown old and tired and wished to spend the rest of their lives living without having to make choices for a pack. With the stepping down, Tenebris had to step up and be acting Alpha.
